Health

Health, to many people is a good body health, which is healthy because of regular physical activity (exercise), good nutrition and adequate rest. Our food consists of sugars, proteins, starches, fats, vitamins, oils and salts. Our system devours and uses only part of the food we consume and the rest is expelled. Healthy eating and lifestyle are important to how we feel, look and how much we enjoy life. “We are what we eat” is a saying commonly used to exemplify that the composition of our bodies is dependent in a great measure on what we have consumed.

  2. can u suggest some more examples on how to improve the eating habits! what are you meaning by balanced diets! can you give some examples please!!

  3. Well balance diets must have carbohydrate, protein, fat, vitamins, minerals salts and fibre in the correct proportions. If there is not enough protein, you will not be able to grow properly and you will not be able to repair yourself, for examples, wounds will not heal properly. If you do not have enough energy containing foods you will feel very tired, you will not have enough energy. If you have too much energy containing foods you will become overweight. If you think that you are overweight you might try taking more exercise to burn off some of the excess food which you ate at you last meal.
